After 3 years of not being able to host any major events due to corona, Verluste is finally back with an event that transforms digital experiences into analog reality. This year different artists combine styles like bass, club, trance, breakbeats in an experimental way to deconstruct the patterns of known listening habits and to transfer them into new acoustic forms.

Antonia XM is a DJ, producer, vocalist and label curator based in Vienna, Austria.

In 2016 Antonia co-founded the label Ashida Park aiming to build an accessible platform for new and unconventional forms of club- and experimental music, visual art and digital dialog.

Antonia’s productions and DJ sets range from Hard Dance, Gabber or Trance to nostalgic Ambient or Pop, all the way to various hybrid forms of experimental club music, Dembow, Rap and more – always building on heavy emotions somewhere in between intimacy and excess.

Antonia has recently released her debut EP „DEMONS“ on Ashida Park and has previously released tracks and remixes on various labels such as Soulfeeder, Hard Trade, Paynomindtous or Cime.

bod [包家巷] is the primary audiovisual performance project of Tucson-born, Berlin-based artist N. Zhu. Beginning with a series of emotionally direct and syntactically encrypted music/video/text projects on labels such as Quantum Natives, Danse Noire, Yegorka, and YEAR0001, bod [包家巷] has gradually expanded the project from cyber-Realist microcosmic analyses of the emotional experience of poverty, alienation, and non-identity towards the intersecting fields of East/West dualistic esotericism, quantum mechanical spirituality concerning non-Euclidean conceptions of time, anti-collaborationist agit prop and non-object oriented geopolitical repositioning. bod [包家巷] is currently working on integrating into European society as a citizen. He recently released a project titled „Music Made by Other People“ in collaboration with Angelicism01.

DJ Durstlöscher is part of the tba collective. tba is a crew from Aachen, Germany, with the goal to bring the freedom of the rave era back to the dancefloors. With a mix of breakbeat, trance, techno, house and electro, they want to show one thing above all: that varied sounds and a euphoric mood absolutely belong together. No matter if record finds from the 90s or diggs from the internet. DJ Durstlöscher likes to experiment and is by no means too shy for Guilty Pleasures.

bXXm is co-founder and (maybe) the last remaining member of Verluste. He further developed Verluste into a label under which different media as well as styles, forms and content can together be curated, performed, exhibited and published. He uses different formats for his research on topics like urbanity, social inequality or capitalism. He lives in Aachen.

His sets mainly refer to Bravo Hits 6 to 10, but also pick up current experimental developments in order to aesthetically reflect specific postmodern experiences of time and history.

Nachdem Verluste coronabedingt drei Jahre keine größeren Events veranstalten konnte, kehrt die Partyreihe endlich mit einem Event zurück, der digitale Erfahrungen in analoge Realität transformiert. Dieses Jahr kombinieren verschiedene Künstler*innen Stile wie Bass, Club, Trance oder Breakbeats in experimenteller Art, um die Muster bekannter Hörgewohnheiten zu dekonstruieren und in neue akustische Formen zu überführen.

Im Jahr 2016 gründete Antonia das Label Ashida Park mit dem Ziel, eine zugängliche Plattform für neue und unkonventionelle Formen von Club- und experimenteller Musik, visueller Kunst und digitalem Dialog aufzubauen.

bod [包家巷] ist das zentrale audiovisuelle Performance-Projekt des in Tucson geborenen und in Berlin lebenden Künstlers N. Zhu. Beginnend mit einer Reihe emotional direkter und syntaktisch verschlüsselter Musik/Video/Text-Projekte auf Labels wie Quantum Natives, Danse Noire, Yegorka und YEAR0001, hat bod [包家巷] das Projekt schrittweise von cyber-realistischen mikrokosmischen Analysen der emotionalen Erfahrung von Armut, Entfremdung und Nicht-Identität auf die sich überschneidenden Bereiche der dualistischen Ost/West-Esoterik, der quantenmechanischen Spiritualität in Bezug auf nicht-euklidische Zeitvorstellungen, des antikollaborationistischen Agitprop und der nicht-objektorientierten geopolitischen Neupositionierung bezogen.

DJ Durstlöscher ist Teil des tba-Kollektivs. TBA ist eine Crew aus Aachen, die es sich zum Ziel gemacht hat, die Freiheit der Rave-Ära zurück auf die Dancefloors zu bringen. Mit einem Mix aus Breakbeat, Trance, Techno, House und Elektro wollen sie vor allem eins zeigen: dass abwechslungsreiche Sounds und euphorische Stimmung absolut zusammengehören. Egal ob Plattenfunde aus den 90ern oder Diggs aus dem Internet. DJ Durstlöscher experimentiert gerne und sind sich keineswegs zu schade für Guilty Pleasures.

bXXm ist Mitbegründer und das (vielleicht) letzte verbleibende Mitglied von Verluste. Er entwickelte Verluste zu einem Label weiter, unter dem verschiedene Medien sowie Stile, Formen und Inhalte kuratiert, gemeinsam performt, ausgestellt und publiziert werden können. In Aachen ansässig, nutzt er verschiedene Formate für seine Forschung zu Themen wie Urbanität, soziale Ungleichheit oder Kapitalismus.

Seine Sets nehmen hauptsächlich auf Bravo Hits 6 bis 10 Bezug, greifen aber ebenfalls auf aktuellen Entwicklungen experimentellerer Musik zurück, um spezifisch postmoderne Zeit- und Geschichtserfahrungen ästhetisch zu reflektieren.
