A New York City native, Matthew Ostrowski is a composer, performer, and
installation artist. Using digital tools and formalist techniques to engage
with quotidian materials — sonic, physical, and cultural — Ostrowski
explores the liminal space between the virtual and phenomenological worlds.
Working primarily with concrete sources, his work brings the energy and
spontaneity of live performance to the sound world of acousmatic music.

Xavier van Wersch (NL) is a multi-disciplinary artist with a deep
fascination for obsolete technology and chaotic behaviour of electronic
devices. Using a combination of semi-modern digital and vintage analog
equipment, his new performance for Videodrone is all about interconnecting
and cross-modulating audio- and video signals, creating complex feedback
loops between image and sound. The result is a raw, immersive and
potentially sensory-disturbing mix of severely stroboscopic and intensely
loud audio-visual noise. Earplugs recommended, photo-sensitive viewer
